Northern California Novelists

Northern California Novelists is a collective of writers founded in 2006 in Chico, California. Since that time, we have helped over thirty authors learn how to write a complete novel. In our digital age, our members are able to come together from all over the United States.

Each active member is a writer and critic who participates in weekly meetings where we provide in-depth critique on current novels. Building on decades of experience helping novelists hone their craft, we use the feedback process to create not just better fiction, but better writers. Our lively conversations help to deepen our understanding of craft so that we can transform drafts into strong manuscripts that work on every level.
